How we keep nursery data safe

• Stored in Ireland. Records and photos are held in a database and file store in the EU, which the UK recognises as providing adequate protection.
• Separated by nursery, limited by role. No nursery can see another's data, and staff only see what their role allows.
• Strong sign-in. Admins must use two-factor authentication.
• A full audit trail. Sensitive actions are logged, so you can see who did what and when.
• Encrypted. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
• People before AI. Every AI draft is checked by your staff before a parent sees it.
• Sensible retention. Accident and medication records are kept until a child turns 21, and deleted items can be recovered for 60 days.
